Land of the Unicorns

Note: This is not part of my Fairytale Project. 

Besides horses, I love unicorns and the magic of them. I enjoy there mystery and there magic. As a kid I remember bits and pieces of watching The Last Unicorn (which I will have to rewatch again for me to remember). This image came to me when I was having a conversation with because we were talking about unicorns. 

I wanted to practice shadowing and illustration because I am thinking of minoring in art again, but I am not too sure. 

I made multiple versions of this artwork, but I was unable to pick which would be a good version to post so I picked the original one to post and then I worked on it more. I even have a version where it is a postcard based off the conversation I had with . 

I started working on this around 6 ish pm or 5 ish pm, but I had to postpone it due to I had to do chores in the house. By the time I finished it it was almost 10:30 pm. So basically at that point I wanted to finish the artwork right away due to sometimes my laptop would act funny by screwing with the picture if I leave it on sleep mode for too long. So I am happy with the results.
