The Simple Things In Life

This photograph was on a whim mostly. These are the things that I found to be very important in my life. Each of them represent something to me. I have a smaller book of The Little Prince, but I found the picture book much better to use in the photograph.

The star represents my love of looking at the night sky and knowing that the night sky not only gives me a clear head, but reminds me that imagination has many possibilities. The more stars I see the more I come up with fantastic ideas.

The green scarab represents my love for history and Egyptian history. It also reminds me to respect bugs or else they will come after you.

The bottle is from Long Beach. It represents my love for the sea and how above it may just be one big blue pool of water, but beneath the sea there is a new world underneath. It reminds me that everyday is an adventure and the possibilities of discovering something new.

The sea star and the seashell remind me of all the things I seen and done. The people I met and the friends I made that no matter what were tied together somehow if it be just a small memory or a part of someone's life.

The last one is The Little Prince. This book was the book that inspired me to be a writer. I reread it to understand the importance of life and the possibilities of mere written words and stories can inspire someone.
