Little Mermaid

To be honest, this isn't how I would picture it, but seems ok. I drew the Little Mermaid as part of my Fairytale project. I was looking though my drawing tutorial books and came across a mermaid drawing. Ended up doing a quick sketch of the Little Mermaid and here she is. I might have overdone it with the lighting, but I wanted to give it a sunlight reflection. I messed up with the shadowing, but overall I really need practice on making underwater scenes. I had the idea of making the Little Mermaid into a kelpie, but just went with my gut for whatever I feel like. I think I'll work on a Pegasus next time.
